We’ve brought together a coffeehouse, two bars, and a bistro all under a single roof. We’ve created the Abbey to give a sense of place, the feeling that you’ve discovered something novel, yet close to home. The Vesper Dining Room is softly aglow with vintage signs and subtly hiding pipe organs around the walls, and we continue to expand both in design and size. We’ve exposed brick walls and wooden ceiling beams in the Parlour Bar, centered one of the largest and greenest outdoor seating spaces in the city around a swan fountain, and crowned the Coffeehouse with a reclaimed church rose window restored as a chandelier. We’ve blended boundaries through the collaboration of baristas, cooks and bartenders, each offering the best of their respective crafts to create dishes and drinks that are both dependably inventive and comfortingly familiar. We continue to expand and grow, providing an opportunity to never have the same experience twice after walking through our entry. The visual journey you will take wandering the nooks and crannies of The Abbey on Butler offer more than one visit will permit. Located in a former Bronze Foundry from the turn of the 19th century, we’ve pressed the imagination.
